Fast Fact: Panic Attacks & The Fridge Game

If you’re panicking, play the fridge game! This is a bit of a distraction and not a sustainable way to cope with panic attacks, but it can be very useful in the beginning to help shift your focus away from the scary sensations. Simply think of, and either write down or say aloud, the names of everything you can think of in your fridge. This includes condiments or that jar of pickles that has been there for god knows how long.
